Not as much a blog as an online baby book for jotting down notes, milestones, and documenting all the wonderful stories of Sierra before we forget them! - for her to enjoy when she grows up and for us to look back on the memories in the future. Note that this blog is not publicly searchable, so please do not share the link. I may end up password protecting it at some point.

Guess what happened at my party today?
First, I walked in and we had to wait about 10 minutes so people could get the kitchen ready. When the kitchen was ready, a man told us to pick a low table or a high table after we washed hands and put on our aprons. Then he told us to take down our ingredients from the higher counter. Next he told us to mix the dough. The dough was made from flour, salt, olive oil, and yeast. A lady came around put a bowl over everybody's dough ball.
Then we made our cupcakes. The most disgusting part was when the man asked us to put sour cream inside our cupcake mix. The funny part was when we ate different cupcakes because ours would take too long to cool. Then we put them into a muffin tin.
Next we took out our pizzas again along with a tray of toppings. The toppings included ham, pepperoni, spicy green peppers, pineapple, and olives, and of course, cheese and sauce. First we spread the sauce on our pizzas. Then I sprinkled cheese on my pizza. I used a lot of cheese. Hailey and I used so much cheese that the man had to refill our cheese. (Hailey was the birthday girl.) I also put ham on my pizza. I don't like pineapple, pepperoni, nor spicy peppers and olives. He took everyone's pizzas and popped them in the oven.
We turned to frosting. I helped mix the ingredients for a little while. But then I went to the bathroom. When I got back, they were loading the frosting in piping bags. The man came around to cut a hole at the bottom of each bag. He told us to form one line as he handed us each two cupcakes. He said we could get more cupcakes if we wanted to. He put trays of sprinkles and candy and asked three of us from each group to get frosting. I got the color purple.
Everybody frosted their cupcakes and put candy on them. I got an extra cupcake for daddy and decorated it with frosting and candy. I don't like frosting or candy so I kept mine and mommy's plain.
While everyone was decorating and frosting, he invited groups over to point out whose pizzas were whose. I showed him my pizza. He told everyone they were extra hot and to be careful. I ate the toppings on my pizza, but I couldn't finish the dough nor eat the cupcakes. Mommy wrapped up the rest of the pizza and the cupcakes to save for later.
The parents came around with cookies, popcorn, and other snacks and I said "no thank you" to each one. Hailey's mom put the cake on the counter and everybody sang Happy Birthday to Hailey. Everyone got a piece of cake if they wanted it along with a happy birthday napkin. I said "no thank you" but I got a napkin anyway.
Hailey's grandmother let me choose a balloon to bring home. I chose a green one. On my way out, Hailey passed me a gift bag with bookmarks and a notepad.
Right next door was Books, Inc. We went in and I bought two books and a cute eraser. Then I went home. The balloon was hard to lug into the car and take home because I didn't want it to pop.
Overall it was a great party and I had a lot of fun.
