Lemonade stand run by a lemonade hater
Me: Gaby's coming tomorrow for a playdate!
Sierra: We can do a lemonade stand! If it's not too hot.
Me: But you don't like lemonade...
Sierra: We can do lemonade and snacks! And the snacks will be free. I can't wait; it will be the best day ever!
Sierra and food
Sierra is not picky when it comes to most foods.... EXCEPT FRUIT. She is very particular about fruit. That said, she enjoys lots of veggies and the other day enjoyed quite an array of tapas at this little spanish tapas place. She excitedly chowed down on the artichoke sandwich, spanish tortilla (egg and potato tart), roasted peppers, gazpacho (which had some bite to it), etc. I was a bit surprised at her adventurousness
Yesterday she had pizza with almost every veggie you can think of on it and I think most kids would have been turned off.
reading
Sierra's reading is really good now. She can read most common words. No problem at all with preschool and level 1. She can read most words in level 2 books too.
Today
S: My helmet is too tight. I'm going to play with it.
(SHE always asks to add her outgrown clothes to her
toy clothes collection.)
Gran: No, it's too expensive, let's sell it.
S: Yes, let's sell it for 20-hundred, so nobody will
buy it. When nobody buys it, I can play with it!

Monday, at Yikes Tikes, Ayi noticed that Koji has the same birthday at Sierra
except 2 years younger. Ayi told Sierra this. She
responded in Chinese, "Yes, when I'm 5, Koji will be
