Playing the stroller game with Jaden

Sierra came up with this game where, while the parents were sitting on a bench by the fountain, she and Jaden would load up her toy stroller with something funny from their strollers (funny being something that doesn't belong, such as diaper wipes or a hat or clothes) and parade it in front of us together. This had the two of them (esp Sierra) howling with laughter. It was hilarious!

ferry to SF

Friday we took the ferry from Oakland to SF, had lunch in fisherman's wharf (she declared the crab stalls "stinky" so we could not linger there), then came back.

she asked me to take a photo of the many voracious seagulls at our picnic spot (she had sunflower sandiwch and veggies (snap peas, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots from the berkeley organic farmers market) and josh and i had shrimp cocktails and cheeseboard bread. Sierra LOVES snap peas these days.

this is adorable because she saw this fish hanging there and asked me to take a picture of it. I then asked if she wanted to pose with it and she said she did. here she is officially and proudly posing and smiling for the camera. unfortunately, i got sunblock on the lens so it's a bit blurry.

SHE's playing drain game with Jaden

After a full day walking, running, and playing around Stanford with Jaden, we all were walking back to our cars with both kids in strollers. Clover had stopped to go to the bathroom and was running to catch up with us. When she got there, I said "one kid has fallen asleep, the other is still asking questions". Fortunately, Sierra fell asleep fairly quickly in the car afterwards for her nap.
